In this course, you will learn how to work with JSON using JavaScript objects and APIs. The course includes an introduction to JSON and JSON APIs, as well as resources for working with JSON data.
Throughout the course, you will learn about creating JSON data, storing multiple objects in an array object, converting to a string and parsing JSON, and storing JSON as a string to retrieve and parse when needed. The course also covers JavaScript arrays and JSON, including how to use loops to access dynamic object names, and how to use AJAX to get JSON data into JavaScript.
Additionally, the course covers how to use an API to retrieve JSON data, including a joke API example, as well as how to create your own JSON connection to an API. The course includes source code and resources to help you practice and apply what you’ve learned. By the end of this course, you will have a solid understanding of how to work with JSON data and APIs in JavaScript.
