In this course, you will learn the basics of AJAX and how to use it to create dynamic and interactive web pages.
The first module will cover the introduction to AJAX, including an overview of the course resources. You will learn what is XMLHttpRequest and how to create a connection to an external file, understand the readyState and http request status, get and output file contents into HTML elements, and download the source code for AJAX request.
The second module will cover tips and tweaks with AJAX. You will learn how to download source code options, encoding data to post via AJAX, create a PHP endpoint, and download the source code for PHP.
In the third module, you will learn how to post data to the server and get a callback response. You will learn how to send input data to the server, parse the response JSON data to output to HTML elements, and download the source code for AJAX post data.
The course will conclude with a lesson on how to practice AJAX and create JSON files, including a resource download. By the end of this course, you will have a solid understanding of how to use AJAX to create dynamic and interactive web pages.
