In this course you will learn how to create dynamic and interactive graphics with HTML5 Canvas and JavaScript. We’ll begin with an introduction to the canvas element and the developer setup process. Next, you will learn the basics of canvas, including how to set canvas dimensions and how to draw shapes, arcs and add text.
In the next module, you will learn how to use images in Canvas by returning to HTML and creating a Canvas Drawer project. You will learn how to use canvas commands and how to save and clear images. Additionally, you will learn how to create a Canvas Drawer project which allows you to draw, move and edit shapes with simple and intuitive functionality.
The course concludes with a code review where you will have the opportunity to download and review the source files and learn from the best practices presented throughout the course. You will leave the course with a solid understanding of how to use HTML5 Canvas and JavaScript to create dynamic and interactive graphics.
