In this course, “Foundational English for Elementary Levels A1 A2,” we will embark on a comprehensive journey to build a strong linguistic foundation for English learners. Starting with Elementary Lesson 1, “Noun Is Noun,” we will explore basic English grammar, progressing through lessons that cover diverse topics such as pronouns, adjectives, location expressions, questions, and verb tenses. Each lesson is designed to provide a clear understanding of the building blocks of the English language.
As we advance, you will master key concepts, including the usage of “Have,” “Has,” possessive adjectives, demonstratives (“This,” “That,” “These,” “Those”), and questions involving “What” and “Who.” The course delves into expressing time using “It,” simple present tense, frequency adverbs, and the nuances of spelling and pronunciation.
Moving forward, we explore present continuous tense, non-action verbs, and the practical application of language in expressing future events. Lessons on subject and object pronouns, singular and plural nouns, countable and uncountable nouns, and the correct usage of “THE” will enhance your language proficiency.
The course culminates in lessons on indefinite pronouns, simple past tense with regular and irregular verbs, and constructing questions and negatives in the past tense. You will also learn to navigate time clauses, express future events using “Will” and “Be Going To,” and grasp the vocabulary associated with past and future time.
