In this course, “Mandarin Basics Level 1,” students will embark on a foundational journey to grasp essential Mandarin Chinese communication skills.
Beginning with the art of asking and introducing names, progressing through discussions about nationality, hometowns, and phone numbers, participants will gradually acquire a practical command of everyday conversations. The course delves into expressing dates, inviting someone to a movie, narrating daily routines, and navigating family relationships. As students advance, they will learn to articulate specific times, ages, and extend invitations. The curriculum also covers polite gestures, such as offering drinks and inquiring about well-being, while introducing fundamental concepts like expressing actions in the past and conversing about modes of transportation.
By the end of this course, participants will possess a solid foundation in Mandarin Chinese, enabling them to engage in diverse social interactions with confidence.
